I have also tried dpInst and when i run it it says N-Trig is ready to use and drivers are successfully installed. I found digltizer by holding my thumb on the screen, it seemed to counteract the ghost clicks. This information will helps other Community users. Sunday, September 25, 6: EXe file and updating the driver from the Device Manager, I was able to install the touch drivers successfully. The solution for me, and many others initially I believe, was to change the screen-refresh rate in the Intel-Graphics control panel, from 40p Hz to 60p Hz.

I’ve been planning to upgrade this machine to Windows 10, but I’ll not do it if I’m going to lose the multi-touch and pen DuoSense functionality That seemed to do the trick!

Go to the Windows Folder check the temp folder inside and look for the NTRIG install log Open it Check for the folder that contains the unpacked driver browse for it and copy all the contents to another place go to the device manager, rightclick on duosense and when prompted indicate the place where you left the drivers.
Will the Windows 10 download provide the drivers needed? Unfortunately, doing so didn’t resolve the touch problems I’m having. I ran it a second time and suggested I install the April Update.

I double clicked on DPInst and it installed the driver just fine. I then ran Universal Extractor on the Setup.
So it may be that Version is as far as Windows 10 will take you on that hardware, in which case beyond the rollback you can still find download media for booted repairs or reinstall here:
